Now that Election Day has come and gone, things are finally getting back to normal. While I was disappointed with the outcome of the Presidential Election, I couldn't be more pleased with the results here in Alpha. Councilman Ed Hanics and Councilwoman Carol Schwar will keep their seats as they defeated Former Councilman Tom Seiss. On the other hand, Mr. Seiss did win the one-year unexpired term. I don't like Mr. Seiss, I rarely agree with him, but I respect his opinions and appreciate his service to the Borough of Alpha.
Moving on, I would like everyone to know that our Junior Midget Cheerleaders might be on their way to Disney World to compete in national competition. The Alpha Youth Athletic Association (AYAA) is hosting a comedy night fundraiser for them on Friday, November 19th from 7pm to 12am at Almond Tree Manor. It's $30 per person and includes the show, music, dancing and buffet. For more information, please email
coltsinfo@alphacolts.com. I urge everyone to come out, have a good time and support our youth.
I want to wish you the best of luck on your quest for a national championship! Put Alpha on the map!

Election Day is upon us! I urge all of you to get to your polling places and cast your vote!
YOUR VOTE DOES COUNT!
Here in Alpha we have 3 council seats up for grabs: 2 three-year full terms and a one-year unexpired term. For the 2 full term seats, I am enthusiastically endorsing Ed Hanics and Carol Schwar.
Again, I urge all of you to get out and VOTE! All Alpha Residents can vote at the Alpha Firehouse. Polls will be open from 6am to 8pm.
